We were told there would be music on 2nd night but our room was under the wedding venue room on 1st night it was like a herd of elephants overhead from 3pm till after midnight. We asked to be moved were told they were full. IT was awful .. We left after one night
Great hotel, we only stayed one night and had a room with a sea view. The vista was fantastic. The hotel does need a little sprucing up in parts but it is only minor. The staff were excellent giving us useful advice re local restaurants. If we are in the area again we will use his hotel.
Arrived at midnight, (as planned), but no reception staff around. Eventually after 15 mins, someone turned up. Dripping noise all night, could not sleep, upon daylight, saw half the roof about to collapse, with a bucket under it catching the water (This was the drip). Shower did not work. Decided to move on at 7am, as I just wanted to get out of the place.
Had to report a faulty shower mechanism
Every thing about the hotel.
Price of food drinks and breakfast £12 00 for one is to expensive
We booked a double bed but got to singles zipped together ! Uncomfortable ridges
Fire alarm went off early hours of morning. Tight space to manoeuvre in car park. Wanted to meet friends for coffee at 10.30. Told no coffee until machine switched on at 11 a.m.
Travelling with dog meant we were isolated in a bar area for breakfast.
The place needs a desperate refurbishment, and access from the cliff path would have been good
Good breakfast. Bar snacks were good- tasty and not unreasonably priced. Helpful staff. Adequate car parking. Nicely furbished room. Pleasant surroundings.
Decor Old furniture Creaking of stairs Wind rustling thru windows
Booked a double and give a 4ft bed in a small room with bed next to the wall had to clime over husband to get out not fun at 70
Friendly staff and character of the place. Lovely location.
Excellent staff, who were extremely helplful. Sadly, I had to check out early due to unexpected family business, but the staff were very understanding and even gave me a refund. I also left behind some very important documents on check out, but the hotel posted these documents onto me, and I received them the very next day 'unaware' that I had left them behind. Breakfast was also very good, The hotel looks a bit dated on the outside, but the rooms are as up to date and as clean as any of your Travelodge types hotel rooms. I stayed as a solo traveller in order to have a bit of a golfing break, as there is a very good golf course (Clevedon G.C) just down the road. One of the best UK hotels I have ever stayed at for the price I paid.
